The Chosen Christ | Digital Print

I didn't know pain before I had loss. Not to the depths of hurt and anguish like I have now. A suffering to anyone that's "unimaginable". Yet, I've lived it.

And so has He; borne pain unimaginable. He's deeply acquainted with my grief. With me.

My relationship to Him has ebbed and shallowed, deepens and flowed. As I navigate trusting in His power, majesty, and reflect on His mortality. This being I didn't really know before but have in action worshipped my whole life.

I know Him now because part of me is in His story. Because all I've been capable to release has been given to Him, to transform from a black page into a work of art. In my loss I've surrendered, to have the work of my life be created by His hands.

This is my depiction of Him, with reference to my favorite depiction of Christ; as seen in The Chosen.
